On the heels of its fourth anniversary, Evil Genius Beer Company has announced that Jon Defibaugh has joined the team as head brewer.
With close to a decade in the industry, Defibaugh brings experience from both Earth Bread + Brewery in Philadelphia and, more recently, Tired Hands Brewing Company in Ardmore.
“We’re really excited to have Jon join our team,” said Luke Bowen, co-founder of Evil Genius. “Both Jon’s brewing acumen and reputation in Philadelphia made him the obvious choice.”
Founded in 2011, Evil Genius will celebrate four years on September 9. Earlier in the year, Evil Genius was ranked in the Top 25 Contract Craft Breweries by Volume in the United States.
