The curtain has closed for Chestnut Hill favorite Heirloom, but don’t be sad. Chef Al Paris has a new culinary concept, SOUTH, in store for us at a different location.
Chef Paul Martin of Heirloom will be heading up the kitchen at SOUTH, and all of the staff at Heirloom will be taking over spots at other Al Paris eateries, including Paris Bistro and Jazz Cafe, Green Soul and SOUTH, when it opens its doors.
Heirloom will surely be missed—especially its specialty BYOB dinners and Sunday brunch—but, on the bright side, we still have Chestnut Hill faves Paris Bistro and Green Soul, plus the future Philadelphia dining spot SOUTH, to enjoy.
