Dave Magrogan Sells Barra Rossa Downingtown in Prep for National Harvest Seasonal Grill & Wine Bar

Last week, Joe Milito acquired Barra Rossa Downingtown from the Dave Magrogan Group. Magrogan cites his current focus on expanding Harvest Seasonal Grill & Wine Bar throughout the region into the northeastern and southern United States as reason for moving on from the venture.

Barra Rossa, which overlooks the Brandywine Creek, has 166 seats inside and 78 on the scenic patio. Milito said he plans on making minimal changes to the decor, as he and his family love the look and feel of the restaurant at its current location. The restaurant’s name will change to Milito’s Ristorante-Bar-Pizzeria, but the concept will remain the same. Barra Rossa will operate as-is for the next six weeks, roughly through mid-January. Any already-purchased gift cards will be honored, and holiday parties will be executed as planned.

The Barra Rossa Philadelphia location, at 929 Walnut Street, will continue to operate as normal.

Find Barra Rossa Downingtown (soon Milito’s Ristorante-Bar-Pizzeria) at 20 E. Lancaster Ave. in Downingtown; phone: (610) 269-6000.
