What’s New This Winter at Harvest Seasonal Grill & Wine Bar?

Harvest Flatbread, with Wine

The season-friendly, big-flavored, calorie-conservative Harvest Seasonal Grill & Wine Bar is shedding its fall colors and rolling into winter with some dynamic flourishes to its menu, both in the kitchen and behind the bar.

Gleaning feedback from guests, the culinary team at the area’s bustling eateries is always innovating. Led by corporate executive chef Josh Short, the Harvest crew unveils the wintery edition of its menu the week of December 14. Taking the best of the “brainstorming of ideas and feedback from guests,” says Greg Keshgegian of the Glen Mills location, the winter menu brings some bright ideas and big flavors.

So what’s next? Look for a fisherman’s stew appetizer woven together with mussels, clams, shrimp, spicy tomato broth and garlic. Pan-seared trout premieres next week too, with local mushrooms building on the layers of this latest fish addition. Also, braised lamb shank with roasted parsnip puree brings seasonal flavor; root vegetables and Cabernet demi-glace round out the hearty dish. On the sweet side, black cherry cheesecake is the latest flavor on the dessert menu.

Harvest Desserts

In bar news, the Glen Mills location will be the first in the group to bring the Le Verre De Vin wine tower to life. The system will allow higher-end reserve wines to be available by the glass. Look for Chardonnay from Far Niente and Artemis Cabernet from Stags’ Leap, among others. The soon-to-launch Radnor location, slated to open in the spring, will also have the customized wine-dispensing system.
