New Restaurant to Visit in Rehoboth: Forgotten Mile Ale House

Forgotten Mile Ale House

Forgotten Mile Ale House, opened in October, is named after the stretch of Coastal Highway between Dewey and Rehoboth Beach. On the site of the former Captain’s Table, Forgotten Mile offers a wide selection of craft brews with a focus on locally produced beers from Delaware such as Dogfish Head and 16 Mile.

The long rehabbing job has paid off, and owner Steve Lucey was able to model Forgotten Mile after Ulysses American Gastropub in Wilmington and Six Paupers Tavern and Restaurant in Hockessin, both owned by Lucey and his brother Mike. The menu focuses on scratch-made, high-quality, local products that easily find pairings on the long list of rotating craft drafts.
