Kimberton Whole Foods Raises Over $3,000 for Community Organizations

KWF Downingtown, Andrew Hicks Jr. FoundationNot only does Kimberton Whole Foods serve the community by offering fresh, local produce and other fabulous grocery items to stock our shelves, but they also pursue a philanthropic path as well.

This popular grocery store recently raised over $3,000 for a variety of community organizations—one organization for each Kimberton Whole Foods location—including Berks County Coalition to End Homelessness (KWF Douglassville), Andrew L. Hicks, Jr. Foundation (KWF Downingtown), Camphill Village Kimberton Hills (KWF Kimberton), Baker Industries (KWF Malvern) and the Bucks County Housing Group (KWF Ottsville). The money was raised through Kimberton Whole Foods’ 2015 Holiday Gift Card Campaign, during which 10% of the proceeds from all gift card sales were donated to these charities.

Congratulations to Kimberton Whole Foods for a job well done and to the organizations who were the worthwhile recipients of the funds!
