Bernie’s in Glenside has been open since December and is already gaining a strong following, which is sure to get even bigger now that the restaurant is offering lunch, brunch, live music and happy hour.
Mix up your workday by heading to Bernie’s for delicious and filling lunch options, including six unique burgers, the Pacific Coast chicken sandwich and crab cakes. If brunch is what you crave, make Bernie’s your dining destination on Saturday or Sunday from 10 a.m–3 p.m., with decadent dishes such as challah French toast and eggs Benedict. Plus, on Sundays, enjoy live jazz from 11 a.m.–2 p.m.
Happy hour at Bernie’s features drink and appetizer specials from 4–6 p.m., with $5 snacks like veggie wings, parmesan punched potatoes, beer hall pretzels and poutine. For happy hour sipping, domestic drafts are $3 and house wine and well drinks can be ordered for $5.
The bar at Bernie’s is the place to be to catch live music five nights a week, with open jam on Thursday/Monday nights, live bands Friday and Saturday nights and an open mic night on Sundays.
