Discover the Science Behind What We Eat & More at the Chestnut Hill Science Discovery Day & FunFest Carnival (April 23)

PlantingOn April 23, treat your kids to a day filled with science discovery and carnival fun in Chestnut Hill!

The Chestnut Hill Science Discovery Day, as part of the Philadelphia Science Festival, provides a day full of learning and excitement surrounding all things scientific. The fun will unfold from 11 a.m.–3 p.m. in conjunction with the Jenks FunFest.

The whole family will enjoy learning about things we eat, the water that flows through our streams and how our muscles move. This event is free to attend, but you may want to bring along some spending money for the bounce house, face painting and other types of exciting kids’ activities taking place at the J.S. Jenks Funfest area on the Jenks playground. There will also be raffles and wonderful food offerings available for purchase.

Plus, be sure to stop by the Weavers Way Community Programs table to check out the science behind seeds. Your kids will even get some seeds to take home and plant on their own!

Don’t miss this day filled with science info and carnival fun on April 23.
