We hope you’re hungry! Weaver’s Orchard will be hosting the most impressive sampling event we’ve seen in ages on Saturday, June 4. Save the date now and bring your appetites. You’re gonna need them.
But before we tell you more, here’s the best part: admission and samples are free!
The food-tastic fun will take place from 10 a.m.–3 p.m. at Weaver’s location in Morgantown, just a hop, skip and a jump off the PA Turnpike. Come early to pick your own strawberries, which will have just made their delicious appearance; then stay for this free sampling event that will take place both outdoors under tents and inside Weaver’s farm market (yes, there will be that many samples).
Samples may include:
- Freshly baked pies, pastries and breads
- Locally roasted coffee
- Homemade granola
- Lancaster County fresh yogurt
- Deli meat and cheese
- Italian pasta and pasta sauces
- Artisan cheese from local farms
- Free hoagie samples while supplies last
Weaver’s has been hosting this annual tasting event for over a decade now, each year inviting as many of their vendors as are able to come out and bring samples of their products for tasting. Each year is bigger and better than the one before! A small business themselves, Weaver’s loves supporting the local economy by selling Pennsylvania products in the store whenever possible and giving customers the opportunity to meet and get a taste of some of the amazing vendors with whom they work.
In the past, vendors have included Twin Valley Coffee, Conebella Farm Cheese, September Farm Cheese, Talluto’s Pasta, Vesper Bros. tomato sauce, DiBruno Bros. cheese, Dietz & Watson deli meats and more.

Pick-your-own strawberries opens at 7 a.m. and continues as supplies last. Arrive early if you wish to pick! A trivia quest, door prizes and the chance for kids to meet Posey the Clown may also be part of the day’s events, all of which are 100% family-friendly.
