Sunday, July 24, is National Tequila Day. Are you ready to celebrate? Our friends at Sauza Tequila are passing along their recipe for a Citrus Margarita in honor of this special day. It’s easy-to-make and full of fresh citrus flavors!
A survey conducted by Sauza revealed that nearly two-thirds of social media users (65%) are more likely to share a photo of a margarita than any other cocktail. Sounds like it’s time to get out your phone, whip up a batch of camera-ready drinks and join in on the fun:
Sauza Citrus Margarita Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 part Sauza Gold Tequila
- ½ parts DeKuyper Triple Sec Liqueur
- 2 parts orange juice
- 2 parts lime juice
- 2 parts agave nectar
- Orange wheel
Preparation
Add all ingredients to an ice-filled shaker. Shake and strain over ice into a salt-rimmed glass. Garnish with an orange wheel. Enjoy!
