There’s sad news to report—Creperie Béchamel has served its last crepe at the Wayne location.

The news was announced via a Facebook post on July 23 stating, “The Creperie will be closing for renovations starting on Monday. Be sure to stop in this weekend to get your crepe fix:) Exciting things to come.”

According to a recent Foobooz article, the new spot will be called At the Table and will be owned/run by Tara Buzan of To the Table Catering. It will be an upscale and refined BYOB concept with a tasting menu and a new chef, which has been determined but not released yet. Buzan plans to open this 26-30 seat restaurant this fall and will serve dinner every night except Mondays and will feature brunch Friday-Sunday each week.

We are certainly going to miss those delicious crepes, but have a feeling there are good things on the horizon.

Stay tuned to PA Eats for updates as they become available.
