Millworks’ Brewery & Rooftop Biergarten Opens Tomorrow!

The Millworks, open in midtown Harrisburg since March 2015, showcases Central Pennsylvania’s bountiful, sustainable agriculture and amazing artistic talents—all under one roof. Now the highly anticipated Millworks Brewery & Rooftop Biergarten will finally be added into the mix when the space officially opens on Tuesday, August 24, at 4 p.m.

Brewmaster Jeff Musselman has a long history of creating craft beer and cider in the central Pennsylvania region, with stints at Tröegs Brewing Company, Hauser Estate Winery (Jack’s Hard Cider) and Weyerbacher Brewing Company. The brewery runs on a 15–barrel system. Initial offerings include a session ale, Oktoberfest, saison, IPA, double IPA, Belgian pale ale and farmhouse IPA.

In keeping with The Millworks’ local philosophy, many of the beers will be made with 100% Pennsylvania ingredients. The farmhouse IPA is made with cascade hops from Sunny Brae Hops, located in Carlisle.
