Weyerbacher Announces New Brew Release

stout, dark beer

Fans of Weyerbacher Brewing Company’s always-in-demand seasonal Sunday Morning Stout are in for a real treat this September with the release of the Easton-based brewery’s new spin on the barrel-aged favorite—Sunday Mole Stout.

Weyerbacher released the news on its Facebook page:

“As the name suggests, this 11.3% ABV American Imperial Stout is the foundation of everyone’s favorite, Sunday Morning Stout, with a twist (and without the barrel aging). … This brew captures everything you’d expect from a traditional molé—coffee, chocolate, heat and smokiness. Foremost is coffee, which is followed by layers of chocolate courtesy of the chocolate malt, cocoa powder and cocoa nibs. Finally, a subtle lingering heat and smokiness from our blend of ancho, pasilla, mulato and chipotle peppers, as well as cinnamon, which is gone by the time you’re ready for your next sip.”

Ready to get a taste of this truly special beer? Sunday Mole Stout will be released to Jester’s Court members on Thursday, September 9, and to the public on Saturday, September 11.

Weyerbacher Brewing Company is located at 905 Line St. in Easton; phone: (610) 559-5561.
