Certain cheeses and wines go together hand-in-hand. Case in point: ricotta and rosé. On August 28, Tenaya Darlington (a.k.a. Madame Fromage) will be hosting a ricotta and rosé dinner at Fishtown’s The Pickled Heron.
Starting at 7 p.m., Chef Daniela D’Ambrosio’s four-course meal will showcase homemade ricotta in each dish, while wine pairings from Moore Brothers Wine Company will complement each course. Here’s what you can expect:
First Course
Grilled Octopus with Preserved Lemon, Chickpeas, Chilies, Oregano, Ricotta Salata
Paired with Jaume Rose Côtes du Rhône 2015
Second Course
Ricotta Gnudi with Chanterelles, Housemade Pancetta, Basil

Third Course
