This fall, Balboa Catering is putting on a series of events that are not to be missed. From a tea party to a dinner with a side of magic, Balboa Catering’s Supper Club events will intrigue you all autumn long.

Coco Love’s Tea Party Luncheon

Saturday, October 1, from 12:30–2:30 p.m.

Coco Love’s artfully prepared teas and cookies will take center stage during a tea-inspired luncheon at Balboa Catering’s location at 1021 Susquehanna Avenue in Philadelphia. The menu features a Mediterranean quinoa salad, tea-smoked fish, oolong-smoked duck finger sandwiches and green tea ice cream sandwiches. The luncheon is BYOB, but there will be plenty of tea served and you can even get a splash of white rum or vodka to go along with the inventive tea drinks. Tickets are $60 per person.

A very special collaboration dinner between chef Alex Garfinkel and close-up magician Adam Wayne Elbaum sets the stage for this unique evening. Elbaum is an expert in sleight of hand, and you will be enthralled by intimate card magic presented tableside and designed for a small, exclusive audience. The dinner menu will consist of five courses, along with an amuse bouche, bread service and a complimentary drink pairing. Feel free to BYOB, too. Tickets are $95 per person and are limited to 10 lucky patrons.

Balboa Pop-Up Dinner

New Hope Winery
Friday, October 23, at 5 p.m.

Join Balboa Catering at New Hope Winery (6123 Lower York Rd. in New Hope) for a late summer five-course wine dinner. Chef Alex Garfinkel will be bringing seasonal produce in from local farms to create a delicious meal, paired with New Hope’s locally crafted wines. The menu highlights the best of the season—panzanella salad with heirloom tomatoes, sumac-soaked Mid-Atlantic salmon and peach sorbet with whipped lemon marscapone. Tickets are $75 per person and wine is included.
