Sip, Sample, Shop and Stroll at Taste of Trolley Square (Sept. 24)

With dozens of lively bars, restaurants and retail shops, Trolley Square is one of Wilmington’s most vibrant neighborhoods. On Saturday, September 24, from 1–5 p.m., get a Taste of Trolley Square with craft beer, wine and spirits tastings, small plates from some of Trolley Square’s most popular eateries and a retail scavenger hunt for prizes. Additionally, there will be free street entertainment, kids’ attractions and special demonstrations and exhibits throughout the day. This family-friendly festival is free to attend and pay-as-you-go.

Participating local purveyors of beer, wine and spirits include Anejo Mexican Grill, Frank’s Wine, Kelly’s Logan House, Trolley Tap House and many more. Sample featured small plates at some of the area’s finest establishments, such as Scratch Maggo’sTrolley Square Oyster House, Catherine Rooney’s and more.

Stroll the streets and visit the merchants of Trolley Square for great deals and discounts and participate in a scavenger hunt for prizes from 1–5 p.m. Additionally, there will be a roaming balloon artist and caricaturist and games in the Acme parking lot and Rockford Shops to keep the kids entertained all day.
