Fermentation Festival Heads to Kennett Square (Sept. 30)

4 Baba's Bucha bottlesOn Friday, September 30, from 2–6 p.m., the Kennett Square Farmers Market will be celebrating all things fermented, from cheese, bread, chocolate and cider to sauerkraut, kombucha and of course, beer and wine.  Special guests include:

Harvest Market Natural Foods

The market will be talking about the cookbook Nourishing Traditions as it relates to gut health and will share delicious recipes including one for fall sauerkraut.

Baba’s Brew

Former market vendor and kombucha expert extraordinaire Olga will be on hand to talk about the health benefits of kombucha and to sell her delicious, refreshing, probiotic-rich drink.

The Farm at Doe Run

Meet the cheese makers from the local award-winning dairy and get a taste of their delicious products.

Kennett Brewing Company

Sample the brewery’s new sour beer!

Victory Brewing Company

Sample root beer and beer and hear all about Victory’s great lineup of events this fall.

37 Chocolates

The local blogger will be on hand from 4–6 p.m. to share her extensive knowledge of chocolate.
