Harvest Seasonal Grill Gives Back to Local Breast Cancer Charities with Special October Menu

harvest-seasonal-grill-saladRestaurateur Dave Magrogan has teamed up with a number of local breast cancer charities in an effort to give back during the month of October—Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Magrogan’s Harvest Seasonal Grill & Wine Bar locations will be educating guests about foods that reduce the risk for cancer with a new menu created by a local oncologist and a campaign to create awareness about the deadly disease, while donating a portion of the company’s proceeds to local breast cancer organizations at all six Harvest locations.

Magrogan and his team consulted with Marisa Weiss, M.D., a Main Line Health oncologist and founder of Breastcancer.org to design a menu featuring healthy dishes that promote breast health and overall wellness.

Furthermore, servers will ask guests if they’d like to personally make a donation to the cause. If a guest donates $1 to the charity, they will receive a “bounce back” card worth $5 toward their next visit at Harvest Seasonal Grill. A $5 donation will earn that person $10 off their next visit.

Breast cancer has affected everyone we know, and it impacts families in the worst way,” said Magrogan. “Every October, we do our best to help raise awareness and funds to fight this deadly disease, and this year, we consulted with a leading local oncologist while also teaming up with some really fantastic charities in the area. We hope to raise significant donations and create greater awareness about the prevention of this disease. We expect that this will be our most successful Breast Cancer Awareness Month to date.”
