Éclat Chocolate to Participate in The Big Chocolate Show

Eclat Chocolate Variety BoxesWest Chester’s own Éclat Chocolate will be among 50+ exhibitors on hand to share samples of its world-renowned chocolate at the First Annual Big Chocolate Show. The event will take place Saturday, October 8, and Sunday, October 9, in Manhattan. Exceptional chocolate creations and a variety of gourmet activities will be available to attendees, including talks, tastings, exhibitions and chocolate workshops for both adults and children.

“We wanted to do more than simply offer an opportunity for the general public to load up on chocolate in a basic trade show format. That’s been done here before and quite frankly, it was easy to improve upon that model. This new, highly curated and American-produced show takes a chocolate expo to a whole new level,” says TBCS’s founder Matthew Saravay, who also heads up event planning and production company Wizard Studios in Bushwick, Brooklyn.

Eclat ChocolateOn the main stage, cooking demos and dynamic talks include a session from the Institute of Culinary Education’s creative director (and the mind behind its Chocolate Lab) Michael Laiskonis, who will discuss “Five Things I Didn’t Know About Chocolate Until I Started Making It.” Jacques Torres, ICE’s Kathryn Gordon, gluten-free master pastry chef Michele Tampakis and artisan cheesecake maker Melanie Underwood also are slated to appear on the main stage, creating culinary magic for the crowds.

The Big Chocolate Show is open to the public on Saturday, October 8, and Sunday, October 9, from 9 a.m.–1:30 p.m. and 2:30–7 p.m. Tickets are $45 per person.
