Head to Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant in Media on Tuesday, October 11, at 4 p.m. for the special release of Hook & Lager, a beer brewed in conjunction with the Media Fire & Hook & Ladder Company No.1. The beer is a traditional German lager with a light straw color, delicately balanced with a firm bitterness and a dry, crisp finish.
Iron Hill will be hosting a Give 20 fundraiser that evening to benefit the Burn Foundation of Upland, PA and will also donate $1 per pint sold of Hook & Lager to the same charity.
While you have your calendar out, mark down Tuesday, November 1, for Iron Hill Media’s six-course fall beer pairing dinner featuring dishes like kimchi-braised boar belly paired with Saison and apple-roasted squab breast paired with Abbey Dubbel.
