Famous Toastery, a North Carolina-based breakfast and lunch chain, is gearing up to open its first Philadelphia area location. The decade-old gourmet breakfast restaurant is poised to debut in Main Street at Exton in the former Freskada and Forage spot at 120 Woodcutter Road.

Famous Toastery’s menu includes egg specialties like avocado omelets and eggs Benedict plus delicious dishes from the griddle like cinnamon raisin French toast. The lunch menu features sandwiches, wraps, melts and salads.

The restaurant will be approximately 5,000 square feet with about 120 seats plus outdoor seating. The opening is targeted for early 2017.

The plan is to open about 10 Famous Toastery restaurants in the region over the next five to six years.
