Pod Restaurant is turning out the third installment in its Tour of Asia dinner series with this month’s Taste of Korea on October 19.
The dining event will include four courses plus dessert, featuring the best of Korean fare. The menu of the evening will be as follows:
First Course – Small Plates
Gaji Muchim: soy-marinated eggplant
Persian Cucumbers: cucumber kimchi
Sigeumchi Muchim: soy and sesame spinach
Second Course
Kimbap Maki Roll: bulgogi beef, osinko and cucumber
Third Course
Bossam: crispy pork belly with kimchi pickles and grilled romaine hearts
Fourth Course
Snapper and Kimchi Stew: seasonal root vegetables, baby potatoes and kimchi
Dessert
Hodduk: Korean pancake with apples, walnuts and spiced whipped cream
The cost to attend this Korean culinary extravaganza is $50 per person, $25 additional for those who wish to add beverage pairings to the courses, plus tax and gratuity.
