Meals on Wheels Delaware holds events throughout the year to raise money for its efforts to ensure that Delaware seniors have hot meals on a daily basis. Two upcoming events in November seek to raise money toward these goals. Support Meals on Wheels Delaware and add them to your calendars ASAP:
Stock Up for Seniors (Nov. 10)
Start your holiday shopping early and help to raise money for Meals on Wheels Delaware when you take part in the Stock Up for Seniors event on November 10 at the Emile Henry Warehouse. This highly sought after kitchenware vendor opens its warehouse once a year to offer extreme discounts to the public, up to 80% off retail pricing. Although certain shopping passes have sold out, you can still gain access from 7:30–9 p.m. for $25 per person when purchased in advance and $30 at the door, should passes still be available on the day of the event.
Giving on Tap (Nov. 16)
The 5th Annual Giving on Tap will be unfolding from 6–8:30 p.m. on November 16 at Two Stones Pub Hockessin. Enjoy craft beers and dinner with pairings provided by the staff at Two Stones Pub as you mingle on the outdoor heated patio. Best of all, 100% of the ticket proceeds will benefit Meals on Wheels Delaware. VIP tickets are currently available for $55 per person and include access to this all-seated private dining event with raw bar and vodka pairings, charcuterie and cheese plates plus rare and vintage brews.
