Treat the Grown-Ups to a Spooky Cocktail This Halloween (Recipes Included!)

Hosting a Halloween bash? The kids can keep the candy while you treat the grown-ups to a fiendishly good holiday drink. These cocktails from Borracha Mexican Cantina, STK Los Angeles and Bottiglia Cucina Enoteca are bound to make your Halloween party a spooky hit!

Borracha’s One-Eyed Willy

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. Botran Reserva Rum
  • 1 oz. Cruzan Aged 151 Rum
  • 1 oz. pineapple juice
  • 1 oz. fresh lemon juice
  • 1 oz. passionfruit puree
  • ¾ oz. hibiscus syrup
  • ½ oz. Giffard Orgeat Liqueur (Almond)

Method

Add all ingredients into mixing tin. Add ice and shake vigorously. Strain into skull glass over crushed ice. Garnish with pineapple top and hollowed half lime with 151 Rum on fire.

 Borracha’s Heat of the Moment

Ingredients

  • 2 slices Fresno chile
  • 2 oz. Espolon Reposado Tequila
  • 1 oz. passionfruit puree
  • ½ oz. fresh lime juice
  • ½ oz. agave syrup

Method

Add all ingredients into mixing tin. Add ice and shake vigorously. Strain over fresh ice into a big martini glass. Garnish with half cinnamon sugar rim, Fresno chili horns and lime spiral.

STK LA’s Green Goblin

Ingredients

  • 2.75 oz Absolut Elyx
  • .5 oz fresh lime juice
  • .75 oz simple syrup
  • 2 slices of jalapeno
  • 4 basil leaves

Method

Add jalapenos and basil leaves into the mixing glass. Muddle. Add vodka, lime juice and simple syrup. Shake and double strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a jalapeno slice.

Bottiglia’s Blackberry Sage Tea Negroni

Ingredients

  • 1 oz. Bulldog Gin
  • 1 oz. Blackberry Sage Tea Infused Campari
  • 1 oz. Cocchi di Torino

Method

Add all ingredients into mixing glass. Add ice and stir for 20 seconds, then strain over blackberry sage ice sphere. Garnish with orange peel wrapped around ice, skewered blackberry and sage sprig.
