Bourbon Blue

This New American restaurant opened by Brendan McGrew in 2002 is bringing you its Pig & Whiskey Dinner on November 8. Picture three blissful courses of pork, each perfectly paired with a different whiskey. Highlights include whiskey glazed baby back ribs paired with Tin Cup Whiskey, not to be overshadowed by maple bacon brittle paired with Bird Dog Chocolate Whiskey. Call to reserve your seat. 2 Rector St., (215) 508-3365

The Goat’s Beard

Throughout cocktail week, this local favorite will feature a different nightly cocktail special —highlights include hot buttered rum and hot chocolate wine. Plus, don’t miss its Second Annual Fried Chicken, Whiskey, Beer & Cheese Dinner at 6 p.m. on Thursday, November 10. The Goat’s Beard has paired up with the cheese makers at local Yellow Springs Farm and Monkey Shoulder Scotch to create a mind-blowing scotch-washed goat cheese. The three-course meal will include house-made cornbread, fried chicken slow poached in vinegar, soy and bay leaf served with Korean buffalo sauce, all topped off with a chocolate and coffee stout cheesecake. Tickets are $40 presale and $45 the day of the event. Call the restaurant and speak to a manager to book your tickets. 4201 Main St., (267) 323-2495
