After 14 years in the biz, its time to say adios to Johnny Mañana’s. The restaurant, located in East Falls, was known for approachable Mexican fare and mason jar margaritas.
Word from Philly.com that the restaurant decided not to renew its lease and that necessary repairs were not worth making at this time. A location in Fishtown opened in late 2015 and closed quickly in early 2016. Chef/owner Tim Bonnie hopes to open a Johnny Mañana’s in Florida and to open a different concept in the Philadelphia area, too.
