Restaurateur Dave Magrogan’s Red Star Craft House, located at the Exton Square Mall, will be welcoming in Black Friday shoppers with craft beer, a delicious breakfast and free giveaways, including a Christmas Kegs & Eggs Happy Hour from 7–10 a.m. in celebration of the biggest shopping day of the year.
The restaurant will tap kegs of Tröegs Mad Elf upon opening early in the morning, and the first 50 customers in house will receive a free Red Star pint glass. Red Star Craft House gift cards will be sold for 50% off from 7–8 a.m., 40% off from 8–9 a.m., 30% off from 9 –10 a.m. and then 25% off for the remainder of the day until closing.
The “Kegs & Eggs” brunch menu will include a brunch burger with cheddar cheese, fried egg, bacon and oven roasted tomato and served with shredded fried hash browns ($10); meat lovers’ omelet with bacon, scrapple, sausage and mozzarella cheese and served with shredded fried hash browns ($10); egg white omelet with spinach, red bell pepper, garlic, shallot and goat cheese and served with vanilla Greek yogurt ($11); and bananas foster French toast—two pieces of brioche French toast with bananas, pecans, maple syrup, powdered sugar and whipped cream ($12).
Red Star Craft House will be tapping three more of its most popular winter beers throughout the day, including Russian River Supplication at 9 a.m., Dogfish 120 Min IPA at 11 a.m. and Stone Farking Wheaton W00tstout at 1 p.m.
“Black Friday is the busiest shopping day of the year, so I figured why not help all the shoppers fuel up with a big, hearty breakfast and some great beers to take the edge off during their shopping spree,” said Magrogan. “It’s a long day for many people, so this is their opportunity to take a break and enjoy some of the most popular winter beers we have to offer.”
