Small Business Saturday began in 2010 to help small businesses get more exposure during the biggest shopping weekend of the year. This event was practically made for Manayunk, a neighborhood where almost all of the businesses are owner-operated.
Stop by 4312 Main Street for Manayunk swag, goodies and your official shopping guide, which you can also print in advance. Be on the lookout for a very special guest roaming the streets while you shop—Santa will be in town.
Participating food and drink vendors and restaurants include:
- Craft Manayunk: $5 draft beers, $5 appetizers, $5 wines by the glass (11:30 a.m.–4 p.m.)
- Lucky’s Last Chance: $4 craft drafts all day
- Manayunk Brewery: 15% off all merchandise
- Sweet Elizabeth’s: Small Mexican hot chocolate with homemade marshmallows and a chocolate chip cookie for $3.75
- Taqueria Feliz: Specials to be determined
- The Couch Tomato: Buy one 10″ pizza, get one 50% off; buy a $50 gift card and receive a $10 gift card free (through 12/31)
- Whirled Peace: 10% off all orders
