Manayunk Meals & More Finds the True Meaning of the Season

knife-and-forkHelp those in need this holiday season by donating to Manayunk Meals & More from now through December 18. Several Manayunk-based restaurants will come together to prepare 900 holiday meals consisting of entrees, salads, sides and desserts. The meals will then be distributed via a collaboration between North Light Community Center and Intercommunity Action to those in need, mostly the elderly and disabled.

How can you help? The agencies are also looking for donations of canned goods, nonperishable goods, personal care items and more. The items will be collected by retailers in boxes throughout the holiday season and at the Rudolph Run on December 10.
