Chocolate Lovers Festival Returns to Kennett Square (Feb. 12)

Whether you love to bake with chocolate or simply adore snacking on it, the Kennett Chocolate Lovers Festival on February 12 is a must-attend event.

The chocolate-centric event unfolds at Kennett High School with VIP (Connoisseur) admittance starting at noon and general admission beginning at 1 p.m. The event is part baking competition, part tasting festival, where student, amateur and professional bakers will compete with their best chocolate baked goods on display as guests will take part in the delicious tasting aspect of the event.

The cost is $25 per person ($45 for 2 individuals) for Connoisseur tickets, which include early admission at noon, ten tastings per person, beverages and free parking, and $10 per person ($30 for a family of 4) for general admission, which includes 6 tastings per person, with additional tastings available for $.50 per person (professional tastings are two tasting tickets each). Parking is available for $5 per car. Guests are unable to bring in to-go containers; however, they may purchase these handy take-home boxes for $10 each, which includes 6 tastings per box.

In addition to enjoying a day filled with hundreds of chocolate treats for the taking, those who attend will also be lending a hand to the United Way of Southern Chester County, which is a beneficiary of the day’s proceeds.
