Local 44, Strangelove’s & Clarkville Team Up with Yards for New House Beer with a Cause—Inaugural Tapping Feb. 8!

Locals looking to wet their whistle with a new and exclusive craft beer should head straight to Local 44, Strangelove’s and Clarkville on February 8. The three establishments, all owned and operated by Leigh Maida, Brendan Hartranft and Brendan Kelly, will be tapping Heavy Manners—a foreign export-style stout made with coffee and brewed by Yards Brewing Company. Heavy Manners is the latest in a series of house beers brewed exclusively for the three restaurants.

To celebrate its inaugural tapping, $1 from every Heavy Manners sold on Wednesday, February 8, at all three locations will be donated to the Nationalities Service Center, a Philadelphia-based organization that provides comprehensive services to immigrants and refugees, including legal protections, community integration, access to health and wellness services and opportunities to achieve English language proficiency.

Stop by Local 44, Clarkville and Strangelove‘s anytime day or night on Feb. 8 for a first taste of this exciting new house beer and help support those fighting for radical sanity on the local front lines at this critical moment in history.
