My wife and I have found a true "diamond in the rough". This was our first visit and we will be back! The food was out of this world, piping hot and well presented. The service was exemplary and the music was Sinatra when we sat down. Simple decor with white table cloths and a nice tea light candle. Not to be missed!

  • I love the Place~

The new Chef, John, he knows italian food. The food is delicious and the cost is very reasonable

  • Being born and raised in South Philly, I can say this is a good go to Italian restaurant. SErvice and atmosphere is excellent along with great tasting italian specialties. My only complaint is the horrible mushy hamburger bun type bread. Here's a hint Carlino's has fantastic hard Italian bread. I think the problem might be that I have observed the bread sitting outside most days waiting for the place to open, sometimes a late as noon…I am hoping the critters haven't gotten to it first and hope the health inspector would drive around most days. This is beyond what I would expect from an otherwise great experience. Clean up your bread act but until then I would ask for crackers, sad considering that the food is top notch.

  • So glad it reopened. Reminds me when I was a kid and we were members of the Italian Circle in Paterson NJ. Nice to enjoy the ethnic thing and enjoy Italian food which is unequivocally the best.

The food at the club was very good, the specials creative and the atmosphere relaxed and friendly.

The mens' night is a lot of fun and I would love to see more social events.

Will be back. Suggest reservations as it is not real big inside but done nicely.

I was happy to find out that you did not have to a member to eat at th Italian Social Club. I gave it try and I must admit it is some of the best Italian food I have ever eaten. I will definitely go back and higly recommend this to everyone, The food is delicious and the cost is very reasonable. The atomsphere is quite friendly like the “old neighborhood Italian resturants”. Full Italian menu and there are daily specials. I enjoyed myself so much I joined as a Social Member!

Thier new location at 329 E. Gay Street is wonderful. The food is absolutley delicious. The new Chef, John, he knows how to cook italian food! I had the veal special. My mother said never lick your plate, but i really wanted to! Nightly dinner specials and a full menu. You do not have to be a member to come for dinner. Don't miss great dining treat in West Chester. Parking was free.
