West Chester Welcomes Kreutz Creek Vineyard Tasting Room

44 E. Gay Street is gearing itself up to house West Chester’s first wine tasting room – Kreutz Creek Vineyards new outpost! Most borough locals have yearned for a place to grab a nice bottle of wine, within walking distance, and their prayers have finally been answered. Right
now we’re lucky enough to be able to grab a growler at Iron Hill, but soon it’ll be just as easy to grab a nice Cabernet to take along to one of our many BYO restaurants.

Jim and Carole Kirpatrick started their small venture in 1989, in Wrightsville, PA, where they grow 13 different varieties of grapes on their twenty acre winery. Extra measures are taken to ensure the best quality of fruit in hard-to-grow Pennsylvania, coming up with a creative and impressive array of eighteen different wines! Prices range from $9.99 to $44.99 – making it affordable for all walks of life!

Checking out their wine selection, it seems like this local vineyard is ready to cater to residents. The WC Dish staff has shared their fair share of Gewurtztraminer and ice wines, and we’re excited to be add Kreutz Creek’s selection to our pallet’s repertoire!
