Philly’s La Fourno Ristorante Launches New Boozy Pizza Series

While drink pairings, beer dinners and wine tastings are all the rage right now, Al Grafstrom, owner of La Fourno Ristorante, thought a bit outside the box when he initially launched his Boozy Pizza Series during the winter months with the Fireball Pizza. After gaining serious popularity, Chef Grafstrom is back at it with not one, but two new booze-infused pizzas with flavor combinations that are sure to be just as good as those in the first installment.

Also pictured above, on the right, is the Evan Williams Seafood Tomato Pie ($10.95), which features a sweet and tangy bourbon marinara, jumbo lump crabmeat, fresh shrimp and zesty cherry peppers.

“Our Fireball Pizza was a huge hit from the day we introduced it, and I decided to expand our Boozy Pizza offerings as soon as I realized how popular it became,” said Grafstrom. “It took me a few months of experimentation, but I finally found some flavor combinations that I feel will rival the deliciousness of the pizza that launched this series. We’re having a lot of fun with this, and I plan on continuing it for a long time.”
