Where to Celebrate Easter 2016 in Central PA

Easter is quickly approaching, and you are probably brainstorming where to eat and what to do during this fun holiday time. Easter Egg-stravaganza (March 26)

Hop into the Easter spirit a day early with the Easter Egg-stravaganza at The Outlet Shoppes at Gettysburg on March 26. From 1–3 p.m., the food court will be filled with Easter activities galore. Kids can visit with the Easter bunny and make Easter crafts as well as go on an Easter egg scavenger hunt at various stores throughout the center. There will also be free face painting. Want to enjoy an outdoor Easter event? Take a carriage ride down Main Street from noon–4 p.m. Parents will have fun, too, as they can enter to win a 50-inch Samsung flat screen television! Hop Along the Bunny Trail in Biglerville (March 26)

Bring the whole family along for a day of Easter events at Hollabaugh Bros. Fruit Farm in Biglerville. Some of the day’s events will include an Easter egg hunt in the orchard, Easter stories, crafts, Easter goodies, games and much more! The cost is $6 per child to take part in all of these wonderful activities. Easter Egg Hunt at the AACA Museum in Hershey (March 19 & 26)

From 11 a.m.–1:30 p.m., children ages 12 and under can take part in a festive Easter egg hunt within the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) Museum. Kids will look for a variety of egg spots within the museum, where candy will be provided by The Hershey Company in addition to other great prizes. Enjoy hot dogs, popcorn and bunny juice while visiting with the Easter bunny throughout the day. Don’t forget to spin the prize wheel after the Easter egg hunt and try to get some additional Easter goodies. Easter Basket Bonanza at The Hershey Story (March 19–20, 25–28)

Kids can make their own Easter baskets at The Hershey Story Museum on March 19–20 and 25–28 from 11 a.m.–3 p.m. Decorate baskets with Hershey springtime advertising art and then stroll through the museum looking for signs of spring and sweet treats, courtesy of The Hershey Company, to fill those baskets.
