Phoenixville’s Steel City Coffeehouse, known for great coffee, delicious food and incredible live entertainment, got a visit from chef Jennifer Zavala earlier this month. Jen, a Top Chef Season 6 alum, is a fierce Philly chef who also offers restaurant consulting and staffing services. She recently spent the day with Steel City’s team adding some new and creative items to its already impressive menu. Create-your-own grilled cheeses, flatbreads and seasonal soups are topping our list of favorite additions.
The Steel City team was ecstatic to have chef Zavala in the house. Owner Laura Vernola said, “Chef Jennifer Zavala exceeded our expectations! She inspired our staff in so many ways and we can’t wait for her to come back in the fall.”
In addition to the menu add-ons, Steel City has partnered with UberEATS to offer breakfast, lunch, coffee and kombucha delivery, seven days a week to your office or home. Ordering good food is now as easy as ordering a ride!
