Sneak a Peek at TALK’s Eclectic Menu

With all this talk of TALK coming to Rittenhouse this fall, we thought it was time to give you that menu sneak peek we promised back in May. Executive chef Tim Lanza has been busy testing out some new dishes while the restaurant is under construction. Take a look at a few of the diverse offerings from its “New American” a la carte menu.

Carrots

Beignet, Crème Fraîche, Duck Fat 
Baby carrots are slowly roasted in duck fat and transformed into fluffy beignets, paired with housemade crème fraîche.

Lamb Merguez Wontons

Mint, Holden Raisin, Pignoli
Hearty yet deceptively light wontons are filled with Merguez sausage and tossed in beurre monté and mint oil, then garnished with golden raisins and candied pine nuts.

Scallop

Summer Corn, Shiitake, Cilantro
 Scallops are seared to perfection and served atop a summer corn succotash with braised shiitake mushrooms, huitlacoche, cilantro and watercress.
