On Saturday, October 14, from 2–10 p.m., Brewery ARS is inviting friends and neighbors to its West Passyunk garage brewery for a fall festival filled with refreshing brews, German food and fun Oktoberfest-themed entertainment and activities.
Brewery ARS will be pouring an array of beers, including its Strength in Apples (6% ABV) and Chasing the Whale IPA with honey (7% ABV), along with two new beer releases: Broga Beer, a session IPA, and a dry-hopped Oktoberfest saison.
Stockyard Sandwich Company will be serving up German-inspired fare, including the following:
- House bratwurst and mustard sauce platter with German potato salad and braised red cabbage ($13)
- Rouladen and demi glace platter with German potato salad and braised red cabbage ($13)
- Mixed pickle ($4)
- Apple strudel ($6)
In between the dining and drinking, there will be plenty of entertaining activities, including live music by Dave C. Matthews, a stein-holding competition and much more. Lil Mario’s will also be on hand serving up some cool ice cream treats.
“We’re hosting the Fall Fest for the neighborhood,” states Sean Arsenault of Brewery ARS. “They’ve really embraced us, so this festival is definitely for them.”
