Weaver’s Orchard Announces Photo Contest Winners

Weaver’s Orchard Farm Market holds an exciting photo competition each year and has announced the four winners of its eighth annual photo contest. Participants in the challenge were invited to submit photos of their fun experiences on the farm throughout the harvest season.

The first-prize winner was Jade Mackay of Glenmoore, who caught her young son’s excitement as he selected a pear at Weaver’s Orchard this past fall.

“Our little family has been frequenting Weaver’s for three years now,” says Mackay. “Our 19-month-old son, Ian, loves to explore the orchard,” she adds, noting that the summer Read ‘n’ Pick Story Time is their favorite activity. “Weaver’s provides a wonderful opportunity for families and friends to spend quality time together.”

The second-place award went to Megan Bermudez of Reading whose entry features her husband and son picking apples together:

The tie for third place went to Bethany Anselm of Pottstown and Mallory Kercher of Reading, photos shown respectively:

A total of 62 entries were received in this year’s contest and no doubt it was a difficult decision choosing the best of the bunch from among the competitors!

All of the entries can be viewed via the Weaver’s Orchard Farm Market Facebook page. If you missed out on the contest this past fall, stay tuned, as the ninth photo contest will begin in the summer of 2018.

In the meantime, stop into Weaver’s Orchard Farm Market for fresh fruits and vegetables (open year-round!) and an array of family-friendly events throughout the year.
