Last month, PA Eats announced that a new bakery was headed to West Chester; we’re now excited to share that Edie’s Sweet & Savory Pastries is open for business!
Situated at 136 East Market Street, Edie’s Sweet & Savory Pastries is serving up decadent offerings, ranging from sweet sticky buns for an indulgent breakfast to a sinfully rich devil’s food cake with vanilla and chocolate glaze. Among the delicious treats filling the shop’s bakery shelves and cases are muffins, scones, cookies, cakes, pies and so much more!
As the shop’s name suggests, sweets aren’t the only items filling Edie’s menu. Comfort food offerings, such as her handmade beef pot pies and quiche (two recent creations include an asparagus bacon quiche and a pepper, onion and cheddar option), are also on offer. Patrons of Edie’s will also be able to enjoy hot coffee or tea with their sweet and savory dishes.
Guests are welcome to enjoy their treats at one of the tables inside of the bakery while watching the crowds pass by along Market Street, or they can take their items to go.
Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m.–6 p.m. and Saturday from 7 a.m.–5 p.m.
