Since the 2004 opening of its new storefront, the Swarthmore Co-op has expanded departments, recruited thousands of new members and kept the tradition of the co-op business model alive in the community. Now, it’s time to party!
In honor of their members’ undying support and to commemorate their 10th anniversary, the co-op is hosting a community block party on October 18 from 5–9 p.m. A night of food, music, games, children’s activities, pumpkin painting and, most importantly, great company is planned for party-goers. Bonus: Come early (at 4 p.m.) and help decorate the co-op’s E-Waste Recycling trailer.
BYOB and enjoy a delicious dinner and dessert menu:

Butternut Squash Risotta with Parmesan
