Each year, millions of restaurant-goers participate nationwide in Dining Out for Life, an annual fundraising event that benefits AIDS service organizations. This year, Philadelphia and the Delaware Valley will participate in Dining Out for Life on April 14. Each person who dines out at one of the participating restaurants will see 33% of his or her bill go directly to benefit ActionAIDS, a local local nonprofit organization that helps those affected by HIV/AIDS.
Making your donation is as easy as dining out! In addition to scores of Philadelphia and Wilmington restaurants, many suburban Philly locations will be participating as well. Save your seat to dine out and save lives at one of these suburban establishments:
Clifton Heights
Exton
Glen Mills
Harvest Seasonal Grill and Wine Bar
Havertown
Malvern
Cedar Hollow Inn Restaurant and Bar
Manayunk
Media
Diego’s Cantina and Tequila Bar
Mt. Airy
West Chester
New this year, ActionAIDS and Yards Brewing Company have teamed up to create Action IPA, a brew that will be available throughout April. Participating restaurants will donate $.50–$1.00 of each pint to ActionAIDS.
Another way to participate on April 14: head to the Food Truck Pop Up taking place in Philadelphia at the 1300 block of Locust Street from 11 a.m.–2 p.m. Participants will include Oink and Moo BBQ, Mama’s Meatballs, The Tot Cart, Foolish Waffles and more!
