Do you remember eating raw cookie dough out of the bowl while your mom baked when you were a kid? Then word came that raw dough was dangerous to eat and licking the spoon became just a memory.
Luckily for kids and kids-at-heart everywhere, there is a new trend spreading throughout the country—shops that serve safe-to-eat scoops of cookie dough are popping up, like DŌ in New York City.
West Chester is getting in on the raw cookie dough trend and will welcome Baked Cookies & Dough to 34 S. High St. soon. Baked will serve warm cookies and edible dough with toppings, but the best news is that the shop will offer deliveries and plans to serve the late night crew.
