Coming this Summer to Downtown Lancaster: Columbia Kettle Works

If you’ve been hearing rumors of a new taproom in downtown Lancaster, we’re here to confirm it’s all true! This summer, Columbia Kettle Works will be opening a brand new taproom at 112 N. Water Street, in the same location as Zoetropolis Art House.

Construction is currently underway, as you can see in CKW’s Instagram update. There will be 16 taps, Pa. wines, and cocktails crafted with local liquors. There is going to be seating indoors for about 50 patrons, with additional outdoor seating in a shared courtyard between CKW, Zoetropolis and a to-be-announced restaurant. And, while CKW won’t have a kitchen, they’ll have plenty of snacks like chips, pretzels, popcorn, pickles and jerky. You’ll also be welcome to bring your own food!

Don’t worry about its original location and brewery in Columbia — that will be staying put. The downtown location will strictly be a taproom, with all of the delicious beer still being brewed in Columbia and delivered downtown.

While an opening date isn’t firm yet, you can expect a summer grand opening party. Make sure you’re following CKW on Instagram and Facebook for taproom updates and news!

If you can’t wait to get a taste of Columbia Kettle Works, visit its flagship location at 40 North 3rd Street in Columbia, Tuesday through Saturday from 11:30 a.m.–10 p.m. and Sunday from 11:30 a.m–8 p.m.
