Richard Landau and Kate Jacoby, the husband-wife team of Philadelphia vegan hotspots Vedge, V Street and Wiz Kid are taking their culinary talents to Washington, D.C., with the forthcoming opening of Fancy Radish.
The new 60-seat, vegetable-centric eatery will open its doors at a location close to Capitol Hill, in the H Street Corridor at 600 H St., NE, with a projected timeline of late February. Fancy Radish will be offering creative plant-based dishes — think braised tempeh and meat-free dan dan noodles — sure to add intrigue to D.C.’s restaurant roster. The eatery will also contain a full bar for those who wish to enjoy a cocktail, wine or craft beer with their delectable veggie-inspired dishes.
The restaurant will be open seven nights a week for dinner, and then ultimately begin serving weekend brunch at a later time.
Congratulations to Rich Landau and Kate Jacoby on this venture into the D.C. dining scene!
