The Team at Vedge to Open Fancy Radish in Washington, D.C.

Richard Landau and Kate Jacoby, the husband-wife team of Philadelphia vegan hotspots VedgeV Street and Wiz Kid are taking their culinary talents to Washington, D.C., with the forthcoming opening of Fancy Radish.

Fancy Radish

The new 60-seat, vegetable-centric eatery will open its doors at a location close to Capitol Hill, in the H Street Corridor at 600 H St., NE, with a projected timeline of late February. Fancy Radish will be offering creative plant-based dishes — think braised tempeh and meat-free dan dan noodles — sure to add intrigue to D.C.’s restaurant roster. The eatery will also contain a full bar for those who wish to enjoy a cocktail, wine or craft beer with their delectable veggie-inspired dishes.

The restaurant will be open seven nights a week for dinner, and then ultimately begin serving weekend brunch at a later time.

Congratulations to Rich Landau and Kate Jacoby on this venture into the D.C. dining scene!
